If your student is interested in any type of school after graduation, students and parents need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA. Students and parents should be getting a signature PIN now and filling out the worksheet. It can be submitted via the Internet now. Schools have a deadline for receiving the FAFSA, and the sooner it is received the better the chance of receiving funds. To apply for the PIN number you need to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. There is a FAFSA on the web worksheet that can be printed out from the website and/or I have made copies that are in the career center. Remember that when you submit the FAFSA your place in line is locked, so you can be eligible for grants and other funds. The sooner you do this the better. This is not just a 4 year school financial aid form, this is for any type of after high school learning.
