Constructing a Good Search

Here are three ways to type a search for extreme sports.

1. extreme sports

2. extreme OR sports

3. "extreme sports"

 In the first case, extreme sports, your results will include all the sites that have both words anywhere in the site.

In the second case, extreme OR sports, you will receive sites that have both words, plus sites that have just the word extreme, plus sites that have just the word sports. This search will give you the most hits.

In #3, you will only see sites that have the words extreme sports right next to each other. That means you will not get sites that have only the word extreme or only the word sports, or sites that have extreme in one sentence and the word sports in another sentence.
