Invitation to Parents

Academic progress is reported with parents in several forums.  Parent handbooks in math, Parent Teacher Conferences and Student Learning Plans are a few examples.  Teachers are also available to discuss specifics with parents.  We are committed to providing a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment for all kids.  Ensuring student success is a joint effort.  It takes the student, the family and the school working together with a common vision to help all kids reach their potential.  We invite you to be an integral part of your child’s education.  We look forward to your active participation in our school community.

Building Use and condition

The elementary school was built in 1948.  It houses students in grades 3 through 5.  Thanks to our capital improvements bond which was approved in May 2001, twelve classrooms were modernized in the summer of 2003 as well as a new covered area, new heating system, fire sprinkler system installed and the old covered area was converted to a multi purpose room.  This building is used by many community groups.  We are the heart of the community and share our facilities frequently.
