School Improvement Plan
- We are implementing our math improvement plan to raise student learning by implementing best practices discovered during our research.
- Staff is focused on aligning to the new standards and common assessments driving instruction through our Professional Learning Community work.
- Specifically our math achievement goal is to increase the percent of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students meeting standard on the WASL to 60.
Invitation to Parents
Parents are informed of and supported in the academic process through our Open House, Parent Teacher Conferences, Student Learning Plans, access to Duxdata and the availability of teachers. A characteristic of high performing schools is high parent involvement, which we at Blaine Middle School need. Parents are invited to support students in the classroom by becoming a volunteer. All parents are encouraged to join our PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization).
