State Learning Goals

Essential Academic Learning Requirements/State Learning Goals provide an overview of what student's should know and be able to do in grades K-10.

GLEs

Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) provide detail about what students shold know and be able to do by grade level. GLEs are aligned from kindergarten through grade 10 so that parents, students and educators can see how skills and knowledge build from year to year. Grade level expectations are being developed for each content area.

Grade Level Resources

This Web site provides user-friendly access to the learning standards along with aligned resources. These standards describe in detail what students are expected to know and be able to do in each grade.

OSPI has produced a one-page handout that broadly covers learning expectations for grades K through 10, and state testing for grades 3 through 10.
