Larissa Dhanani--  Larissa is the Office Manager for the Family Service Center, as well as the Secretary and Family Program Coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant for the School District.  Some of Larissa’s responsibilities at the Family Service Center include: working with community members and other organizations on different fund raising efforts, coordinating the annual school supply distribution, organizing the recipient list for the Thanksgiving Food Hamper, referring families to the Operation School Bell clothing organization and Giving Tree Program.  Most importantly, Larissa spends a great deal of time working with families, both walk-ins and on the phone, helping them access resources including clothing, household supplies, school supplies, gas and food vouchers and other basic needs. 
 
Jessie Burton—Jessie is in her 2nd year as the Readiness to Learn Coordinator, Homeless Education Liaison and the Drug and Alcohol Specialist. Her primary duties as the Readiness to Learn Coordinator include working with families and networking with other organizations to bring much needed services and resources to the Blaine School District including Community Voicemail, health insurance enrollment, and domestic violence support to name a few. As the Homeless Education Liaison Jessie assists homeless families access needed resources both in the school and in the community. Jessie graduated in 2007 with her Masters in Social Work and is a certificated School Social Worker. Previously, in 2004 she graduated with her Bachelors in Human Services from Western Washington University.
