The Blaine School Board has now completed an extensive process of reviewing updates to the District's policy on Use of School Facilities. The process started in February of this year with a public work session where there was extensive discussion regarding the availability of Blaine School District facilities for community use. Over the course of the past five months, the Board has reviewed updates to their policy on this matter multiple times, with final adoption of the policy updates and revised fee schedule at their regular meeting on July 29. Blaine School District's Facilities Department remains committed to carrying out the Board's desire for all members of the community to have equitable access to school facilities while ensuring that funds intended for education are not used for other purposes.
