The Blaine School District administration has been diligently working on budget planning for the 2018-19 school year. Click on links below to view updates that have been provided to the Board of Directors during this process.
On July 10th, the Blaine School District completed its preliminary budget for the 2018-19 school year. A budget summary is on file at the district administrative office at 765 H Street, and a hard copy will be furnished to any person requesting one. An electronic copy of the summary can be viewed by clicking the link here. The summary includes a projected total of expenses and revenues for the 2018-19 school year.
A public hearing on the budget will take place during the regularly scheduled Board meeting on August 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the district administrative office. Anyone in attendance will have the opportunity to speak for or against any part of the budget, the four year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240. Final budget approval will take place after the hearing on August 27th, during the regular Board meeting.
