Recommended 14-day travel quarantine

With the onset of fair weather and families planning for Spring Break, we are getting questions about travel restrictions. From the beginning, our commitment to staff and to students has been to follow the guidance and recommendations of the local health authorities. Since the Governor's proclamation last November, a 14-day quarantine recommendation has been in effect for anyone returning from travel outside of Washington state. This continues to be the recommendation of the Whatcom County Health Department, and we are asking families to follow this guidance. Anyone who travels outside of Washington state is asked to follow this recommendation by keeping your students home and attending online during the 14-day quarantine period.

It is our understanding that the Governor is reviewing this guidance, and we will keep you updated if there are any changes. Thank you for helping us keep staff and students safe.
