Want to attend a field trip with your child?
Our *entire school* will be involved in some field trips to the Pickford Film Center coming up in early November, where the students will experience documentary films about youth. We need parent/guardian chaperones on the following dates:
--Monday, November 5, from about 8:20 to about 12:00 lunchtime to attend with the 8TH GRADE
--Tuesday, November 6, from about 8:20 to about 12:00 lunchtime to attend with the 7TH GRADE
--Wednesday, November 7, from about 8:20 to about 12:00 lunchtime to attend with the 6TH GRADE
1) If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact the field trip coordinator Sarah Fisher at sfisher@blainesd.org.
2) You will also need to be certain you have filled out the district’s volunteer paperwork, which includes a background check. You can take care of this paperwork by contacting Tanya Carter at the district office via (360) 332-0717or tcarter@blainesd.org.
3) Plan to attend on the date you have offered, including riding the buses with students down to the Pickford Film Center in Bellingham.
