Community Message Nov 12th

Dear students, staff, families and community,

This week we wrap up conferences for our K-8 students. Thank you to all of our families who engaged in the process. We hoped you learned some things about what your students have been up to and took the opportunity to connect with their teachers.

Next week some of our families may be impacted on their school commute by the full closure of the intersection of Peace Portal Drive and Bell Road. From 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 16th through 5:00 P.M. On Thursday, November 18th maintenance crews from BNSF will be replacing crossing materials. There are no planned changes to our bus routes.

The rest of November will certainly fly by, with one full week of school next week and then Thanksgiving Break the following week. Don’t forget, all students K-12, will have early release at 12:50 on Wednesday, November 24th for the four day weekend.

I hope yesterday while our families enjoyed a day off from school they also took time to reflect on the many gifts afforded to us by our American Veterans. I personally am incredibly grateful for their service to our nation.

It’s a great night to be a Borderite, and, as always, a great night to be your superintendent.

Sincerely,

Dr. Christopher Granger
