community Message Sept. 9th

Dear students, staff, families and community,

In follow up to my message earlier today, tonight’s football game against the Sehome Mariners will take place as scheduled, with varsity kickoff at 7 P.M. Current predictions are still for worsened air quality throughout the weekend due to smoke from wildfires. Student athletes and their families will be notified as soon as possible via FinalForms of any schedule changes regarding the cross country meet tomorrow.

UPCOMING OPEN HOUSES

All of our schools have open house events coming up. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend with their students to meet teachers and tour the school building.

Blaine Primary and Elementary Schools - Thurs., Sept. 22nd, 5-7 P.M.

Blaine Middle School - Thurs., Sept. 22nd, 6-8 P.M.

Blaine High School - Weds., Sept. 14th, 6-8 P.M.

OTHER UPCOMING DATES

Monday, Sept. 19th - 2 Hour Late Start K-12

Monday, Oct. 10th - 2 Hour Late Start K-12

I hope you are all able to relax and rejuvenate over the weekend and get ready for our first five day school week next week. It’s a great night to be a Borderite, and, as always, a great night to be your superintendent.

Sincerely,

Dr. Christopher Granger
