On Tuesday, February 20, starting at 6pm in the Middle School Cafeteria, a special meeting of the School Board will be combined with the monthly Supper with the Superintendent for the purpose of soliciting stakeholder feedback on the district’s budget planning considerations for the 2024-2025 school year. We are thankful for our Facilities personnel who worked diligently all of Thursday to clear our campus walkways and parking lots. However, as of 5pm, it is clear that unsafe conditions will continue on Friday. To again help staff and families prepare, the decision is being made early to CLOSE ALL SCHOOLS ON FRIDAY, January 19, due to unsafe winter weather conditions. All athletics, extracurricular, and any other campus activities are canceled on Friday.

As of 4pm on Wednesday, it is clear that the severe weather conditions and related impact on the district will not improve by Thursday, and may indeed worsen in some areas. Therefore, to help staff and families prepare, the decision is being made early to CLOSE ALL SCHOOLS ON THURSDAY, January 18, due to severe winter weather conditions. All athletics, extracurricular, and any other campus activities are canceled.

The 'Supper with the Superintendent' event planned for this evening, January 17, is canceled due to inclement weather. A new date will be determined as soon as possible, and the presentation intended for this evening will take place at that time. Families and community members are encouraged to watch for this opportunity to learn about the district's upcoming ballot initiatives, as well as the consideration of additional budget reductions for the 2024-2025 school year.
