We know rumors are flying but want to assure you there have been no active shooting events at any local schools, and no actionable threats to any of our schools. There have been some calls to 911 attempting to garner law enforcement response to various campuses in our region. The calls indicate an active shooter threat or event in progress, but law enforcement officials assure us they have been deemed to be false, referring to the reports as “hoaxes”. We continue to monitor this situation and are working in collaboration with the Blaine Police Department. If any new information becomes available, we will provide an update.
